Refunds and Returns

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact customer service at (800) 211-4188 or service@drvita.com - we’ll provide you with return instructions.

You will be responsible for all return shipping fees.

The refund amount (cost of product less shipping) will appear on your credit card approximately 7 business days after the product is returned.

Only one opened package of each SKU is eligible for return, all others of the same SKU must be in its original factory-sealed container for refund.

Domestic Shipping Policy
All contiguous domestic orders over $49.00 qualify for free standard shipping. DrVita, Inc. ships same day on orders placed before 12:00pm Pacific Time Monday - Friday. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days for standard shipping. Most orders under $49.00 have a shipping cost of $4.99 to ship through either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail - for larger or heavier products, this price may increase. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are typically $8.99.

Orders placed during weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day - all orders should ship out within 24 hours. This excludes special order and out of stock products. Also note that DrVita, Inc. attempts to ship orders 100% complete (partial orders are rare, except in situations of out of stock products).

Rural areas may take additional time to receive our shipments. Additional charges will be applied if the delivery address is incorrect, or if the package needs to be forwarded to a different location.

Air Shipping Restrictions
Most of our packages are delivered by a combination of air and ground transportation. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) restricts air shipment of certain items, which it believes could contribute to an onboard fire or other mishaps. Restricted items typically fall into one of two categories:
__ [1] Aerosol-type products in pressurized spray cans, such as hairspray and shaving cream.
__ [2] Products that contain flammable, volatile, or corrosive chemicals, such as nail polish and nail polish remover. We're committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible, but we also want to do it safely and responsibly, in compliance with DOT rules. DOT restricted products can only be shipped via ground delivery.

If your order is returned to us due to a banned/restricted products policy, a wrong address, refusal to pay customs fees, refusal to accept the order or because no one was there to accept delivery of your order, we will refund your credit card as follows: You will be refunded the total amount of the order, minus the shipping charge, and 20% of the value of the order, (as a re-stocking fee). We will also subtract any other outside charges DrVita has incurred during shipping, such as warehousing fees, return postage fees, etc.

If the cost to return the product to us is larger than the cost of the refund due, we will instruct the carrier to abandon the order and there will be no credit for the order. If the product(s) is seized by customs, there will be no credit processed for the product(s).

DISCLAIMER
Address or Other Customer Error
If a package is returned to DrVita due to address error (or any other error) made by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee.

Violation of Laws
If a package is returned to DrVita due to a violation of a country's laws, the customer will be responsible for any fees (such as quarantine, warehousing or shipping) billed to DrVita. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee.

Customer Refusal
If a customer refuses a package because of additional fees (or for any other reason), DrVita will issue a refund for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee, upon receipt of the returned package.

Customs Seizure
If a package has been halted/seized by customs or abandoned by the shipping carrier, the customer will not receive credit for the order. If and when DrVita receives the returned package, a refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee. You should always contact your customs office or other appropriate authority before you place an order, to understand regulations or restrictions that may apply. Not understanding your country’s regulations can result in your order incurring high import duties or your delivery being delayed, or returned to us.

Lost Packages
Lost packages must be reported to DrVita within 30 days of the date of purchase.

Destroyed or Unreturned Packages
If a package has been destroyed by customs (or the carrier) or has otherwise not been returned to DrVita, we cannot issue a refund for the order.

Illegal and Banned Products
Contact your customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of products you are going to order from us and if any additional licenses or permits are needed. If you place an order and your local customs office determines that any product(s) are illegal, your package may be seized. Please refer to the Returns Disclaimer for additional information regarding seized packages. Laws do change frequently so please note that we do NOT guarantee that products found on our site can be shipped to you without problems.

Credit Card Verification: First-Time Non-US Customers
For your protection and ours, it is important to make sure credit cards are being used by their proper owners. So, it is possible that customers ordering for the first time from DrVita may need to provide us with additional information to verify that you are the account holder. If that is necessary, you will be contacted by our verification team.

Unlike credit card purchases made by US customers, international orders cannot be verified electronically or by telephone. The extra step of gathering this information is necessary for your protection and ours, to ensure that you are the actual credit card holder.
