Domestic Shipping Policy
All contiguous domestic orders over $49.00 qualify for free standard shipping.
Outside the contiguous U.S.: Standard shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico is $8.99!
DrVita same day ships orders placed before 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Monday - Friday.
Orders placed during weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day and guarantees all orders to be shipped out within 24 - 48 hours. This excludes special order and out of stock products. Also note that DrVita ships order 100% Complete, we do not ship partial orders.
Domestic Shipping Policies:
- All packages will be delivered UPS Standard Ground or USPS (whichever method is best suited) for local and Post Office Box (P.O. Box) addresses.
- Please note: Rural areas may take additional time to receive our shipments.
- Additional charges will be applied if the delivery address is incorrect, or if the package needs to be forwarded to a different location.
Most of our packages are delivered by a combination of air and ground transportation. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) restricts air shipment of certain items, which it believes could contribute to an onboard fire or other mishap. Restricted items typically fall into one of two categories:
- Aerosol-type products in pressurized spray cans, such as hairspray and shaving cream.
- Products that contain flammable, volatile, or corrosive chemicals, such as nail polish and nail polish remover.
We're committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible, but we also want to do it safely and responsibly, in compliance with DOT rules. DOT restricted products can only be shipped via ground delivery.

We request that you contact your customs office and ask about import regulations and restrictions before placing your order. It is important for you to become familiar with Customs policies for your specific country before ordering. Customs regulations differ by country and not knowing their regulations can result in your order incurring high import duties, the delivery being delayed or even returned. Please check with your Customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of the products you are planning to order from us and if any additional licenses or permits are needed. When ordering from DrVita.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Please Note: If your order is returned to us due to a banned/restricted products policy, a wrong address, refusal to pay customs fees, refusal to accept the order or because no one was there to accept delivery of your order, we will refund your credit card as follows: You will be refunded the total amount of the order, minus the shipping charge, and 20% of the value of the order, (as a re-stocking fee). We will also subtract any other outside charges DrVita.com has incurred during shipping, such as warehousing fees, return postage fees, etc.
If the cost to return the product to us is larger than the cost of the refund due, we will instruct the carrier to abandon the order and there will be no credit for the order. If the product(s) is seized by customs, there will be no credit processed for the product(s).
You will be responsible for any shipping fees (including return shipping) incurred and/or billed to DrVita.com.
Returned, Refused and Seized Packages
You should always contact your customs office or other appropriate authority before you place an order, to understand regulations or restrictions that may apply. Not understanding your country’s regulations can result in your order incurring high import duties or your delivery being delayed, or returned to us.
Before you make a purchase, please read our disclaimer regarding returned, refused or seized orders:
Address or other customer error: If a package is returned to DrVita.com due to address error (or any other error) made by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee.
Violation of laws: If a package is returned to DrVita.com due to violation of a country's laws, the customer will be responsible for any fees (such as quarantine, warehousing or shipping) billed to DrVita.com. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee.
Customer refusal: If a customer refuses a package because of additional fees (or for any other reason), DrVita.com will issue a refund for merchandise only, minus the shipping fee, upon receipt of the returned package.
Customs seizure: If a package has been halted/seized by customs or abandoned by the shipping carrier, the customer will not receive credit for the order. If and when DrVita.com receives the returned package, a refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus minus the shipping fee.
Lost packages: Lost packages must be reported to DrVita within 30 days of date of purchase.
Destroyed or unreturned package: If a package has been destroyed by customs or the carrier, or has otherwise not been returned to DrVita.com, we cannot issue a refund for the order.
Any duties or taxes that may apply are your responsibility.
Illegal and Banned Products
Please check with your customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of products you are going to order from us and if any additional licenses or permits are needed.
If you place an order and your local customs office determines that any product(s) are illegal, your package may be seized. Please refer to the Returns Disclaimer for additional information regarding seized packages.

Credit card verification for first-time customers
For your protection and ours, it is important to make sure credit cards are being used by their proper owners. So, it is possible that customers ordering for the first time from DrVita.com may need to provide us with additional information to verify that you are the account holder. If that is necessary, you will be contacted by our verification team.
Why do we take these steps? Unlike credit card purchases made by US customers, international orders cannot be verified electronically or by telephone. The extra step of gathering this information is necessary for your protection and ours, to ensure that you are the actual credit card holder.

Only one opened package of each SKU is eligible for return, all others of the same SKU must be in its original factory-sealed container for refund.
