For many people, a classic Super Bowl party consists of massive amounts of chips, sausage, burgers, booze and of course, yelling. The Super Bowl is normally considered a cheat day for many people’s diets and unfortunately can be the demise for their New Year’s resolution. Most of the time, the Super Bowl isn’t even about the game, but more about food and good times with friends (and many are bitter that their team isn’t participating). Instead of worrying about how much you are eating, here are 10 healthy Super Bowl snacks so you can stay focused on the game, commercials or pout that your team isn’t at the big dance.
Having guacamole apart of any snack is an instant smart move. Adding broccoli to the mix, makes it prime contender for the best snack during the Super Bowl. To make this dish even healthier, try using low-fat and lightly salted chips.
Considered a “super food,” broccoli provides many different health benefits to the body.
